The Supreme Court's Big Decisions

This week, the US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) left affirmative action (mostly) unscathed, eviscerated the Voting Rights Act, made the definition of a "supervisor" impractical and struck down most of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

 

While all of these decision created a new path in the social justice movement, yesterday's marriage equality decision will most likely require the most immediate change in the workplace (e.g., policies, taxes, staff education, and benefits).
